Linux Binary Packages
Fedora/RHEL (and derivatives like CentOS and Scientific Linux)
Fedora and EL repos are hosted in a COPR repository. Note that you will need to ensure that you have mp3 support installed from rpmfusion or similar in order to play/record mp3 files.
sudo dnf install dnf-plugins-core
sudo dnf copr enable openkj/OpenKJ
sudo dnf install openkj
(For unstable/development builds, replace openkj/OpenKJ with openkj/OpenKJ-unstable in the copr enable command above)
sudo curl -o /etc/yum.repos.d/OpenKJ.repo https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/openkj/OpenKJ/repo/epel-7/openkj-OpenKJ-epel-7.repo
sudo yum install openkj
Ubuntu 16.04+ (and derivatives like Mint or Elementary OS):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openkj/release
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openkj
(For unstable builds, replace openkj/release with openkj/unstable in the add-apt-repository command above)
Note - While the Windows builds are now signed with my code signing key, you may get warnings about it not being commonly installed due to my key being new and the software not having a large user-base of installs. It is safe to go ahead and install the software. Installers will show being signed by "Thomas Isaac Lightburn", which is me, the developer.
